
Double Bass & Bass Guitar
Dom holds a PhD in Biochemistry & Molecular Biology from New York Medical College and a BS in Biology with minors in Chemistry and Music from Fairfield University. He studied classical piano through college before transitioning to jazz bass (Double Bass and Bass Guitar), bringing over 30 years of musical experience to the bandstand. Seventeen of these years encompassed professional work, playing traditional Jazz, Big Band/Swing, Latin/African Jazz, and Musical Theater in many large and small ensembles in the New York area including with the Sonny Carroll Orchestra, the Howie Lawrence Big Band, the Norm Hathaway Big Band, and various local and summer stock theater companies. He has played at the Iridium Jazz Club, the Emelin Theater, and numerous other public and private venues. He is currently studying orchestral double bass privately with Ms. Susan Hagen, Principal Bass, Boston Pops Esplanade Orchestra and Asst. Professor of Bass, Berklee College of Music in Boston, MA.

Ray is a seasoned musician who studied guitar at the Berkleee College of Music during an exciting era when jazz and popular music were converging in innovative and inspiring ways. A professional performer for over five decades, he has dedicated himself to the pursuit of musical excellence across a wide range of styles and genres. Big Band Jazz remains his greatest passion and the most rewarding challenge of his musicianship. It is a tradition Ray holds with enormous gratitude and respect.

Piano
Scott has performed in New York City and its surrounding suburbs for over 20 years. He played in the septet at Empire City Casino from 2009- 2019. Scott is also a full-time piano teacher.
